1) Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2) What we are (and aren’t)

Crawford Designs is an independent construction magazine focused on premium home systems and exterior solutions. We publish editorial content and tools for information only. We do not provide professional engineering, architectural, electrical, plumbing, or legal advice; we do not sell construction services or materials; and we do not operate a contractor referral/brokerage.

3) Changes to the Site and Terms

We may modify or discontinue any feature, and we may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

4) No professional advice / Safety first

Everything on the Site is general information. Projects involving electricity, roofing, pools, gas, HVAC, structural or envelope work can be hazardous and may require permits and inspections. Always consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction and follow applicable codes, manufacturer instructions, and safety standards. You are solely responsible for your choices.

Any prices, specifications, or warranties referenced are indicative and may change by region, installer, or time. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability of any product or service referenced.

6) Editorial independence & accuracy

We aim for clear, field-first guidance. However, content may include errors or be out of date. We do not guarantee that content is free of inaccuracies, omissions, or interruptions. Reports of errors are welcome via the Contact Form.

If you submit content (e.g., comments, questions), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and moderate it in connection with the Site. EEA/UK consumers: Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

16) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crawford Designs and its personnel from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

17) Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Courts of Madrid (Spain) shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
EEA/UK consumers: You may bring proceedings in your local courts and benefit from mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
US residents: Some disclaimers and limitations may not apply to you if prohibited by your state’s law.

18) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site (in whole or part) at any time, including where we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or present risk to the Site or others.

19) Severability & waiver

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

20) Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
